Pusha T Speaks On Rick Ross Shooting

Pusha T
According to G.O.O.D. music artist Pusha T, Monday (January 28th) was suppose to be a day of celebration. It was Rick Ross’s birthday and Pusha T dropped his Wrath of Caine mixtape. But Rick Ross was dodging bullets in his Rolls-Royce, which smashed into a building while trying to escape the gun fire!

Pusha spoke with MTV news about the incident and here’s what he had to say:

“I don’t wanna hear about that with anybody. I definitely hit him up like, ‘Yo just let me know you’re okay,’ “He was just like, ‘Yeah he’s just layin’ back.’ That was enough for me,” Pusha said of the word he got back concerning Ross’ psyche after the shooting. “It’s tough out here as an artist and being in rap it’s like this is the only profession where you don’t really leave your core,” he said. “You don’t really leave your upbringing. You don’t really leave that behind; you stay in it lyrically and so on and so forth. So it’s like you can’t really get out of it, you can’t really get away from it. I don’t care how much money you have.”
